I heard about this piece today on Mike and Mike on ESPN2. Supposedly he sustained so much brain trauma playing NFL football that his brain looked like that of a man in his 80's with early onset alzheimer's disease.
He also would have been completely incapacitated in 10-15yrs if he had not killed himself.
