by Foreigner. I cannot shake this song. I've had it in my head for over a week, no matter whatever else I listen to.

Anyone else ever have this issue?

I've had a combination of "menomena" (animal's song on the muppets), a brendan benson song and a walter meego song stuck in my head for about two weeks now. Before that, it was "Bear down, Chicago Bears."

Actually that was Rolf's feature tune. And I miss seeing walter meego, and the abrupt break in every set as the computer had to be rebooted.

The original hippie muppet singing the song on Sesame Street and pre-Sesame Street (on shows like Smothers Brothers) was named Mahna Mahna and the song was also called "Mahna Mahna." He kind of looked like Animal, so the confusion makes sense.

Because of my daughter, I became so obsessed with "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" that I had to break down and figure out to play it. It's actually kind of a crazy song, structurally.

Fortunately no, since this often gets my vote for the worst song ever.

if a song is stuck in my head, i usually listen to it 1+ times. this acts like a catharsis. works most times.

of course, if it's a song i don't like i probably don't have it and don't want to hear it... in those cases, i listen to something else. or drive a sharpened crochet needle thru my ear.

I've got "We don't need another hero!" from Mad Max in my head right now.

I want it out.
