1. that my grampa made it thru his recent stay in the hospital, and will be home for thanksgiving and hopefully thru the remainder of the holidays.

2. my GF who day by day erases the idea that i am gonna be single for the rest of my life.

3. obner, for keeping me from jummping out my 11th floor window at work each day.

4. the abundance of music that crosses my path each day, new and old. even though, i only wind up liking less then 10% of it, it keeps my blood flowing.

I am thankful for my folks. My sister. My nephew because he is unbelievably awesome. Obner at times--Timis for passing on the music and for Dalen because the dude always hooks me up with some nice post-rock/shoegaze/electronic stuff that I find myself enjoying more and more.

I am thankful for Tania for being the Obner matriarch. I am thankful for Mr. Billy G for always knowing exactly what to say to me. And, I am thankful for Stacey for letting me be unbelievably chauvenistic and realizing that I am just fooling around.

I am thankful for my friends and life and the ability to use all of my limbs large and slightly less large.

I am thankful for the winter time and the nice break from crappy steamy hot weather.

I am thankful for my AHL hockey season tickets. NORFOLK ADMIRALS #1 baby!

I guess that's it.

My god e-stone and charli, those are some mighty stunning babies. So beautiful. congratulations.

Okay... my contribution to the mush-fesh:

I'm thankful for:

- my sweet family, especially my Mom who is always there for me with patience and wisdom.

- my sweet bf, who rocks my world.

- my job, which is good and allows me enough free time to work on music, as well as a couple of extra bucks to buy music gear with.

- being able to take my trip to Europe for the first time and travel with my honey.

- landing on my feet after my band broke up and being able to write new songs on my own.

- good, supportive friends

- having a nice, safe, peaceful home

- that things are going well for my brother.

If I ever have a kid, I hope he's cool like Patton. Kid's like a mini Eddie Van Halen.

Today I'm thankful for the new coworker who baked me a loaf of pumpkin bread last night. She rocks.

I'm also thankful for my girl Whit who drags me out when I feel like being depressed and mopey and shows me a good time.

And I'm thankful that I'm out of here at noon today.

I'd like to add that I'm thankful to realize today that the bag of crappy quality coffee I bought two years ago in case of an "emergency" (read: incase I ran out of money to buy any more) has not, and probably will not need to be used. Ditto for those emergency cans of tuna.

Man, where to start? It's been an exciting year!

I have a lot to be thankful for . . .
Phil, thanks for your constant support, love and understanding--even when I'm crabby and working 70 hour weeks. You always make me laugh at life (and myself) and look forward to whatever tomorrow brings. xoxo

To Billy, Puma and Tania for all your help, hospitality and friendship on our west coast adventure.

Colin for all your help and advice getting settled here and making me laugh everyday, getting EVERYTHING on the grocery list (even if I didn't mean for you to actually buy THAT) and putting up with my anal retentive/obsessive compulsive cleaning.

I'm thankful for all the new friends I met this year and giving me the chance to up my couch karma. You're welcome to crash in Austin too!

All the terrific friends and family I have and that they understand when my correspondence lapses. I really intend to call more often ;)

My dog for letting me be goofy everyday and being the best puppy even if she's scared of everything.

Having a job I love where I get to have fun everyday and make someone's day everyday.

All of you for the daily dose of laughter and great music. Thanks!

I'm thankful that I got to spend another Thanksgiving with my mom. My family and I live with the fear that she may pass away at any time so it's nice to spend whatever holidays we have left together.

I'm thankful for all my friends and family who love me and are there for me whenever I need them.

I'm thankful for you guys. It's weird, but in a strange way, you've become a part of my life. Not a day goes by without me thinking of you.

And of course, I'm thankful for Craigslist. ;)

I'm thankful that my grandma's giving me a sweetass double bed and other bedroom furniture for FREE. I'm also thankful that her turkey and stuffing RAWKED again this year, she made mincemeat pies just for me, and that Thanksgiving was a good time this year. I got a little holiday depression on Wednesday, but managed to shake it by yesterday afternoon. Word.
