Sideline chick-reporter during the Rutgers game was embarassing. Worst teleprompter-reading ever.

Then, in the last two commercial breaks--Jessica Simpson tarting an acne medicine and some workout DVD.

It would not surprise me to see an ad for feminine protection...this is college football, how can these bozos not sign up beer spots????

I don't think I even get ESPN-U. I was out during the Rutgers game anyway, and listened to some of it on the radio.

If your situation is like here, they run those ESPNU games on a reginal cable channel (Comcast Sports Southeast down here) so the advertising is whatever they run normally, which in this case is a lot of Jessica Simpson Acne Cream and Ad Council spots about the dangers of "the pot"

They don't use prompters anywhere in sports except maybe the studio shows.

They *have* to have had a prompter, there's no way anyone speaks the way this one did, you practically see her straining her eyes to read--unless she was trying to recite memorized questions. It was dreadful.

Cue cards *maybe* but extremely doubtful; prompter, no way - not on the field. (I'm in the biz, I have a working knowledge here). I'm guessing she's just really really really really bad.
