I don't understand how people cannot like peas. They're miniature, sweet, and you never get enough in a bite to ruin anything. Crazy folks.

Peas are horrid little flavor crystals of TEH GROSS, that can take an otherwise benign dish, like the aforementioned tuna helper, and render it inedible for even the loweliest among us.

I wouldn't give a can of peas to a food drive for the homeless, they have it bad enough already.

Oh, hell yeah. I use peapod peas. Canned peas remind me of diarrhea.

What, no one's got thanksgiving leftovers? Get a box of Creamette Elbow Macaroni (probably around a buck) or a 1 lb. bag of egg noodles (89 cents), buy a half lb. brick of actual cheese (mozz. or cheddar or something, about $2.50) boil the mac, grate the cheese, toss it together with turkey (or tuna, or whatever... stuffing. doesn't matter). Add a 1/4 cup milk, and some country crock ( a tub is like 3 bucks and will get you the same mileage as like 48 sticks of butter, which is slightly more pricey). Toss some crock and milk in there, stir it around with some black pepper, throw it in a casserole, and voila. You and the wife can eat off it for three meals a day for 4-5 days. All for under $8 once you buy the milk too.

Just cause you're in the depression doesn't mean you have to kill yourself.

This thread has inspired me to try that homemade mac n cheese recipe again. Think I'll do it later this week.

I don't mind the Kraft but they don't put enough cheese in as far as I"m concerned.

Oooh and yeah, tuna in mac n cheese is awesome.

Nothing sexier than a cheap motel, a lesbian, a giant, smelly green vegetables and the combined recordings of The Rolling Stones and Phil Spector.

I see somewhere in Virginia as the mid way point...
