Very funny stuff as usual, but I thought it really fizzled out. It didn't dig as deep as it could have, there was potential for so much more. Some hilarious parts though...

Ohhhhh, sorry! This is what happens when you haven't gone to a movie theatre in over two years.

i've heard some pretty dreadful things about this movie - like catherine o'hara being hideous and it not being very funny apart from fred willard.

well, she's kinda supposed to be hideous for half of it...the joke was that she heard she was going to be nominated for an oscar and she went out and got botox and all this surgery...and yes she looked hideous. I wouldn't call it dreadful...I laughed quite a bit.

So, it's just like all his other movies?

A few half hearted chuckles, and the rest is pretty much meh.

Better than A Mighty Wind not as good as Waiting For Guffman.

Willard pretty much steals it

Fred Willard steals in all those movies, in my opinion. Especially Best in Show.

Catherine O'Hara has never been and will never be hideous except on purpose.
