Where is Fear - The Record?!?!
A top-10 for sure, or at very least, top 20.

Awful.

At least Buzzcocks are on there.

All these kinds of lists are silly because you start arguing whether acts like Minutemen were "punk" instead of how awesome they were.

Isn't Kerrang a metal magazine? I thought metalhead cred dictated hating punk.

That album would easily make a top 20, and probably top 10 of the nineties, were I to be the list making type.

They're allowed to like Misfits and Suicidal Tendencies.

'Plastic Surgery Disasters' is by far the best Dead Kennedys set. It absolutely blows away the 'standard' DK choice of 'Fresh Fruit...'

And deliberately stayed on Epitaph to release it. Is "Ruby Soho" that much more watered down than "Salvation?"

You're insane, man. I love Rancid, but it can't touch The Ramones. Not even fucking close. That's a perfect record in every sense of the word.

Some of those I don't even consider to be "punk," including some albums I really like. I mean, The Get Up Kids?? Come on. I don't really consider Fugazi and Quicksand to be punk either, even though they are two of my favorite bands. Where is X, The Circle Jerks, Suicidal Tendencies, the other Misfits albums, Pink Flag...

Oddly enough I somewhat agree. It's the definite proof that we needed to pop out their eardrums with icepicks and break their fingers to stop them from making idiotic lists like this.

While I really, really like Plastic Surgery Disasters (I just listened to it last week), I don't think it comes close to Fresh Fruit, but their debut album was the album that got me into punk. Musically and lyrically, I just don't think they ever pulled it off nearly as well again.
