Did anybody watch this game? Fucking awesome. Ridiculous talent on both teams. Both teams making runs and shooting the lights out AND playing great defense.

Tyler Hansbrough has only gotten better. So solid even though he only has two expressions, shock and fired up/angry.

With only 1 more weekend of college football regular season left, this game just put college basketball on my radar for the rest of the season.

Please tell me that OSU was just on fire last night and don't normally shoot the 3 like they did. If they do, when Greg Oden gets back I'm picking them to win it all even though they lost last night. That guy looks like he's 40 years old.

OSU play Florida two days before Christmas in Gainesville. Should be a good one. UNC should beat Duke both times this year but that's easier said than done.

I was randomly flipping channels last night, and happened upon this. I saw that it was the ACC/Big 10 challenge, so at first I thought that tha 1 v 6 meant seeds in that tourney. Nope, it meant in the country. one of the few games that has sucked me in and held my attention in the past 4-5 years. Great game. Fuck the Buckeyes, tho.

Yeah I went to the FSU/UW game Tuesday night. My first live basketball game EVER. It was a great time man. I think I'm finally ready to start watching COLLEGE basketball before March.

Didn't catch that game though.

Yeah, I needs to edumicate myself on the hoops this season. Sounded like a great game, though.

Me too. This was the first hoops game I've watched in it's entirety this season.

It was crazy though. I think OSU was like 9 for 12 in the first half or something from behind the arc. They couldn't miss yet UNC was still in it.

There was a series in the 2nd half were I don't think either team even dumped the ball inside the 3 point line for about 5-6 possessions. Both teams just kept lauching, and making, 3's.

Watching that last night I don't see how the NBA can manage to fuck it up so badly, yet they do.

Sounds like that Arkansas (MayDay) -Loyola Marymount (Gathers, Kimble) first-round game I saw in Indianapolis in '89. Jeff Fryer with 22 attempts from downtown. Arkansas won 120-101. Fucking insane.

Something about college sports maintain its soul even through scandal. Don't know what that's about though.

I was gonna watch this, but I had a shit ton of work to catch up on, so I missed it.

I'm not ready for basketball quite yet, but Gary has the Terps at 8-0 to start the season. Granted they haven't hit conference play yet, but they have beaten Michigan State & Illinois, both of whom I'd expect to be decent. DJ Strawberry is also the leading scorer so far.

they've got some impressive (so far) freshmen in Vazquez and Hayes. and a JuCo transfer, Osby...with a tight 'fro. Ibekwe has been damn good so far as well, but i still worry they are undersized.

that game was incredible last night. incredible enough to wash the bad taste left in my mouth after that crap game my fighting illini played against maryland the other night.

and don't even talk to me about duke.....indiana tied it and per usual i got all excited and nevermind. between vitale and his cupcakes and those cameron freaks i'm not sure if i'll even be able to watch any duke games this season.

and jason, vasquez. i agree that he's going to be a lot of fun to watch as the season progresses.

go illini.
go terps.

I fucking loathe Hansbrough. To me, he's a Duke player in a UNC uniform. He has that quality that Laetner, Chris Collins, Wojo, Redick and now Paulus all possess. I don't know what exactly it is, but I hate it.

At least State is off to a 5-0 start. Will probably be an up and down season, but the win over Michigan to start off the ACC/Big Ten challenge was nice. And oh by the way, the ACC is now 8-0 in the "challenge."

I watched this in passing since Nebraska was playing on FOX Sports. The Huskers are unbeaten too under first year coach Doc Sadler. He is the first Husker coach since pre-modern BBALL to start out unbeaten in their first year. They also upset a ranked team during the regular season for the first time in a few years.
UNC looks damn good, I bet Kansas is still pissed Roy Williams left.

i just don't like hansborough because he's WAY too comfortable taking shots in triple teams when he's one cock away from the basket. sometimes refs don't give him the foul call just to penalize him for being stupid.

And 'Sconny? Beat Florida State -- which, like Doc Oc's "voodoo chicken noodle", is on the rise -- by sixteen. Does that count?
