Game I want to see is a rematch on a neutral field between OSU and Mich.

I expect Florida will get the bid and lose by double digits.

How about Boise State/Ohio State and Michigan/Florida, with the winners playing in the national championship?

Maybe it would be better if Michigan goes, so they'll be forced to make some changes.

if Florida gets in: Florida wins by 7 because OSU has already been annointed the shit and Smith has been getting fat at all the banquets talking about how great he is and he fucks it all up

if Michigan gets in: nobody really cares and Troy dominates suckas and ascends directly to heaven in some sort of chariot type apparatus

if a one-loss SEC team does not get in the national championship game, the coaches (and presidents) in that conference will go crazy. it will basically come off as the voters saying that the best overall conference needs to produce an undefeated champion to be considered for a national championship.

My vote: Florida. One more win than Michigan. Toughest schedule in the country when the SEC championship game is included.

A rematch does more harm than good for the Big Ten. While a national championship is guaranteed, the dominance of its two elite teams would be forever speculative. I would rather have Ohio State win the NC and have Michigan beat their bowl opponent, placing them at a deserved #1 and #2 at the end of the post-season polls. Otherwise, you're relying on Wisconsin, Penn State, and Purdue to prove the conference's worth. While I'd love to see it happen, I'm not optimistic.

At home against a sub-.500 mid-major team with game-tying potential in the last three minutes of the game, yes. That said, I still think they would be the best team in the country on a neutral field.

To be honest, I've only seen Michigan play once (vs. Ohio State); I was pretty impressed, but its hard to judge based on that one game.

I've seen Florida play vs. LSU,Auburn, Tennessee,Georgia, and Arkansas; they definitely have some flaws (what team doesnt?) but I'd like to think that having that intangible of playing in big games and playing from behind against good teams would serve them well.

On a neutral field, I'd make the game Florida -3.

I'm torn. I personally think Michigan is probably slightly more deserving, but don't want to see them make it.
Florida played what by historical standards is usually a tougher schedule, but I have my doubts that they could stay as close to Ohio State as Michigan did.
I'm starting to lean towards Michigan just due to the fact that they might actually implement what should have been called the Nebraska Rule, but now will be the Big 10 rule, and thus no team that is not a conference champion can play for the BCS title.

FLA is #2 in AP, so if they also make #2 in Harris, they'll end up #2 in the BCS.

Three top-5 teams at season's end.
Yeah, clearly the Big 10 was a cakewalk this year.

Nobody knows how good the Big 10 is, because they didn't play any nonconference games. Wisconsin played a high school schedule, so it is impossible to have any idea how good they are.

USC, a single team, has more nonconference wins against ranked opponents than the ENTIRE big 10 put together.

Wisconsin wouldn't have finished any higher than fourth in the pansy ass Big East.

Nice try, busters, but its FL.

So, now I get to root FOR a Big 10 team, because It's Great to be a Gator Hater.

And yet, when the chips were on the line, they still couldn't beat unranked UCLA. Pathetic.

MIchigan looked mortal in exactly one game this year, and it was against the national champion.

Florida looked mortal in about six, including near-losses to unranked teams.

Florida boosters - set a line for the championship game. I'm pretty sure I'll take the favorite.
