I've had it since around the time it came out, but haven't listened to note one. Maybe I will load it on the pod for dat honeymoon listenin.

I love this album. Possibly top 5 material. Didn't understand teh love for it at first but it grew on me too. Has a Born to Run vibe to it but I don't think they're apeing anything. Never heard the first two, so I have no comparison.

Ok, I hate to be the wet blanket in this thread

but I initially kind of liked the album and ever since the first listen it's gone downhill. His vocal delivery is identical to Asbury Park-era Bruce, and it's almost like he's trying to be inimical. Some of the instrumentation reminds me too much of Bruce too. It's probably an irrational pet peeve, but I friggin' hate bands that come off as impressionism. The songwriting, etc. is fairly decent, but I just can't get past the rest.
