I'll look into the date issues. One of the mods hides (and doesn't count) people with 0 post count, and some date weirdness may have occured.

those bastards and their poorly structured sql.

Installed a mod that hides 0-count posters (as I suspected, the higher your member count the more attractive the board to spammers) and another that hides certain registration fields so that if a bot submits a registration with those fields filled in, the registration is rejected and the IP address is autobanned.
