Me too. Though not guilty at all. It's in my top 5.

I don't buy that at all. "My Love" is one of the freshest and fun songs to come out in a long while. Futuresex is far from a critical achievement but it is one of the most deserving pop albums I have ever heard. I have more respect for someone who listens to JT than say Razorlight.

My current gp is choosing Hollister over Fossil. Fossil's light years beyond Hollister and I know that but i still can't make the switch. It's one of my resolutions.

Yeah I guess it's not really guilty if I went out and bought the album.

Maybe Lady Sovereign, though I really can't stand her, Love Me Or Hate Me is a pretty good song.

don't know much about them. heard them on the 75minutes podcast and all i know is that they are from aberdeen, they did a split 7" with data panik (ex-bis), they have an EP out, and they have a myspace page--you can download a couple songs there.

I hate the term guilty pleasure...if you admit to liking something then you obviously aren't guilty about it. Seriously, does it truly cause you pain every time you listen to a so called "guilty pleasure"

I doubt it.

musically, i think "stars are blind" by paris hilton comes the closest to a "guilty pleasure" for me.

this again? seriously?

yes yes, we're all hypocrites (or at the very least bad grammarians). why does someone always do the "tsk tsk" routine everytime one of these topics comes up?

Not guilty about it either, but I guess the closest thing that qualifies would be Gnarls Barkley. It will be in my top 10.

I think it is called a guilty pleasure because the guilt comes in because even though I admit to liking that new single, I am still ashamed of it. I feel guilty for feeling ashamed for liking that single. I also wouldn't by the album.

I guess it is more of an idiom than anything else but damn dude. Just presume to know what I mean. It ain't quite as literal as you took it. whewf.
