There was an entire thread on this topic awhile back. The proper phrase should be I couldn't care less, as you are trying to express that you have no feelings regarding the issue at hand. You are are at zero, and could not go further beyond this point.

Example:

Some local: Did you know that the Rough Riders are playing a big game this weekend?

Me: I don't follow football, that means nothing to me.

Some local: Really? You don't care at all?

Me: I appreciate that fact that you enjoy it, but, I really couldn't care less about how the Rough Riders do, or about the CFL or football, in general actually.

There's a strange pocket of people here in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky that say "youse" as second person plural. As in "Are youse going to go to dinner?" This includes some of my in-laws.

Like a bizarre collision of southern culture and mafia stereotypes.

youse is pretty common up and down the east coast, but i tihnk peopel who are saying it are well aware that it isn't propper english.

yeah, most people who say it know it's not proper. half of pittsburgh says "yinz" ("what're yinz doing tonight?") and the surrounding areas are closer to "yunz." the majority is in on the joke.

I love the commercial with "you mean we don't get French benefits?"

A coworker of mine has been repeatedly saying "It's light and day" when things are very different from one another and it's driving me nuts. How the hell could that make any damned sense to him? And the thing between the seats in a car? A "counsole." A film that recreates actual events (follow the pronunciation, because this is important): a "documen-tairy" (as if he's meaning to say "document" but adding "ary" at the last moment - this is almost impossible to get across in print, sorry.)

On a related note, I once convinced one of my friends that it was called the "glove department".

this is pretty good, but it could possibly also work as a play on words for something that was totally in its right place. no? ok.
