I don't really think that Romo had a bad game. It was just an average night for him. Unfortunately, the cowboys defense made Romo look foolish. If they had been able to stop something on D then maybe the game would have looked different.

Don't get me wrong. I am no Romosexual, but he wasn't playing THAT bad.

.

He was 3 of 13 or something like that at one point. He easily could have had 4 picks in that game. Defintely would have had 3 picks if Fred Thomas wouldn't have been wearing a cast and that would have taken away his only fluke touchdown. He gained most of his passing yards when the game was pretty much out of reach. It wasn't Grossman bad but if Eli would have had said game, Plaxico and Strahan would probably be raslin' on the Giants locker room floor on ESPN right now.

Yeah, I still like Romo, but he definitely sucked last night. The Saints flat-out DROPPED at LEAST three picks, probably one or two more. I think he'll be better next year, but he's coming back down to Earth right now.

I mean, he wasn't GROSSMAN bad, but he was still pretty crappy.

Less than a month ago, when the Bengals still sucked...

Also, they have won three straight but against a mediocre falcons team and a mediocre san fran squad. They played well against dallas. The jury is still out, as far as I'm concerned.

I think saying Parcells is overrated is a slight overreaction.

I'm not basing this solely on last night. Take away (the real) LT, give the Bills a non-choking kicker, and Parcells would have exactly ZERO Super Bowl wins. He's all reputation, at this point. He's been blatantly outcoached on numerous occasions this year, though last night was certainly the most glaring example.

He's just a miserable turd trying to get by on past glory he didn't really deserve to begin with.

Also, Romosexual may be the worst term ever invented.

I will agree with you that the real proof will be in the weeks to come. But I'm definitely sold. I think you will be too, before it's all said and done.

Take away the best player from ever Super Bowl winning team and guess what you have?

Elway from the Broncos
Favre from the Packers
Montana from the 49ers

I could go on

A head coach manages a game, and the bottom line is that the sum of his experience with several franchises puts him squarely in the black. He somehow took the fucking JETS to the AFC championship game, for christ's sake. The JETS!

Perhaps, but I'd still like to kick that bastard (Parcells) in his withered nutsack.

Anybody else think that the Saints kneeling it four times on the five yard line was a bigger slap in the face to the Cowboys than if they's actually gone ahead and scored? I lollered.

That was exactly what I said. One of the guys I was watching it with said he thought Payton taking a knee not to run up the score was showing respect to his mentor, but I said taking a knee with THREE MINUTES LEFT was a blatant show of pity for the guy he obviously outcoached. It was like Daniel-San smacking Mr. Miyagi right in the nose with a crane kick. But Parcells deserves it. He's an overrated piece of shit.

I still think the Cowboys are basically a good team, but I have decided to be realistic and give up any delusions of Super Bowl. Unless the Bears magically fix their QB situation, the Saints will be marching in to Miami to face the team that discarded Brees...the Chargers. Great matchup.

I'll be pulling for the Saints once the Cowboys have been eliminated.

The truth of the matter is that there are no good teams in the NFC, and whoever wins the NFC will have just played better for a 2-3 week stretch than a bunch of other mediocre teams. You want good football? Watch the Chargers.

I don't disagree with you one bit. With the parity in the league, anything can happen. I think the Steelers of last year is an example of the importance of getting hot. The Saints offense is filthy good though. I'm not sure there is a team with as many weapons . Brees, McAllister, Bush, Horn, Colston, Henderson, Topper are amazing.

Actually, that's when the Bengals started playing well again. Palmer had a very good game. And if you remember the Saints moved the ball easily in that game but Brees kept throwing pics in the red zone. Played that game much closer and better than the score looked.

Yeah, because Harrington did SO WELL in the NFC during his first tour of duty.
