I am sooooooooooooooo fucking tired from this whole thing.

And yeah. I still reek of Alabama. I slept till 9 this morning, and wanted more.

So Friday night, everyone just assembled in the lobby and proceded to monger until after 4am. I drank everything. Derris whipped out a boombox and some mix cd's, and we took over a dining room off the lobby.

This picture is obviously from late in the evening... I only remember that my glasses got smashed in a Loog headlock, and that they still don't really fit right. Oh, and I remember him apologizing profusely for crunching them.

I woke up Saturday at 10:30, still very drunk, unable to go with Busty and the Mrs's to get breakfast. Woke up again at noon, stumbled to the shower, and flirted with the dry heaves.

Damn. I still haven't looked at any of the pics I took throughout the weekend.


So fucking qual. I was genuinely moved at several points during the weekends festivities. Lots of longtime friends coming together for the big lug.

Friday night was most definitely the DRUNK night. Thanks to Capn for helping me with the dining room Christmas tree that I knocked over sometime after 2am. Not sure if there are pics of that debacle.

Saturday was a bit more chaotic due to many more friends in town but after the Loogs left the guitars came out and the half keg was tapped upstairs in the suites. Good times.


Omen of the weekend: 5 minutes before we all walked out to the front of the altar "Free Bird" came on the radio we had in the Groom's room. We all took it as a good sign.

Yeah, just so nobody can accuse me of favoritism, there's me looking absolutely retarded.

So we get ready to go to the ceremony Saturday evening... 3 cars in a caravan, probably 20 people total. We all have the map that came with the gift baskets, showing where the church is. We drive for an HOUR, lose the other 2 cars eventually, and stumble in the lobby doors 20 minutes after it started. Guess how long the ceremony lasted? Yeah, about 15 minutes, apparently, because we caught the wedding party walking out. Didn't see a second of the actual deal. The other 2 cars had just given up and gone back. Turns out the map was GARBAGE, and the road the church was off of splits, and BOTH ROADS get the same name. Huh.

And I have pics of the christmas tree pre-knockover, not post. All I remember clearly as ornaments rolling across the room in a fan shaped pattern, and then glitter allll over the fucking carpet. I think we just stuffed all the loose ornaments behind the tree, up against the wall, no? And the next day it had all been re-arranged. How much did that hotel HATE us?
