I love how he turns and "sings" to the band with no mic in front of his face!
And the look on his face says it all:"How stupid is this?"

The song is pure 70's AM radio pop of this highest order.

EDIT: By the way, this is pre-Kiss, I think.

Kiss was formed in January of '73, but in any case Cooper and Gabriel are the real progenitors of crazy stage costumes

still, it's a cool clip.

I wish. The 70's AM pop I recall was a lot of Mac Davis.

What's the year of that Move clip?

"See My Baby Jive" was 1973.

Those old Wizzard albums are maddening to listen to, because you can almost hear the concept of the wild rock 'n' roll orchestra that Roy Wood was striving for (- but the production always obscures it. I don't know if it was the old technology or the lack of imagination of producers (or, in Wood's own case, maybe a slight lack in studio expertise), but he could never catch that multi-part chaos on record. "See My Baby Jive" is a perfect example. It must've totally rocked live though.

Exactly. You can tell that it's killer, but all the voices and strings and shit sounds like mush through a $19 flanger.

Gotta love the french horn.

Roy can play ANYTHING. Horns. Recorder. Drums. And let's not even talk about the guitar god that he is. A weirdo freak genius when Prince was still in diapers.

And that Move clip is from '66 or '67, I think
