It's a fun game that some folks started up at another site.
Just guess the song/artist each lyric is from.
Guess one or more than one at a time... whatever.
Some are harder than others. But y'all know me so they should be easier for you than for many others. (No, there are no Shrimp Boat lyrics in here!)

1. The wind goes right through you, it's no place for the old -- "Fairytale Of New York" - Pogues (DERRIS)

2. I always get it up -- "My Sharonna" - The Knack (SQUIRGGLE)

3. The doctor grabbed my throat as I breathed my first and yelled, "God's consolation prize!" -- "Blank Generation" - Richard Hell (SPADE KITTY)

4. The sweat from your body covers me -- "When Doves Cry" - Prince (SQUIRGGLE)

5. I loved you. Well, nevermind. -- "September Gurls" - Big Star (DERRIS)

6. I can't stop trying, I can't give up hope -- "Ooh Baby, Baby" - Smokey Robinson (VANLANDINGHAM)

7. My love gun's loaded and she's in my sights! -- "Big Bottom" - Spinal Tap (SPADE KITTY)

8. You say you're my friend, but I'm at my wit's end -- "Cruel To Be Kind" - Nick Lowe (SHOEGAZE)

9. ...my heart fell at your feet -- "I Can't Help It (If I'm Still In Love With You)" - Hank Williams (VANLANDINGHAM)

10. Do you remember the way you cried? -- "Hot Burrito #1 (I'm Your Toy)" - Flying Burrito Brothers (SHOEGAZE)

EDIT: No fair Googling (or otherwise searching for) lyrics.

Getting colder.
Think about who you're dealing with here. What you know about what I listen to (if you check the np:'s)
