Aimee Mann's XMAS show

Anybody seen these shows in CA, or in NYC the other night? I may have the opportunity to go to tomorrow's show...though I really like her, I get the impression she's boring live. She is playing with Grant Lee Phillips, though.

Should I go?

Don't know if you know this but she has a new album of Xmas songs. I thought about seeing her in LA last weekend but i'm not a big fan of holiday music and was afraid i'd end up paying $35 and hearing mostly Xmas songs.

Never seen her before but she does play LA a lot and I haven't heard much either way. I'd be surprised if she wasn't decent live if the set is pulled more generally from her catalog.

I've seen her live before and she's fairly decent.

Got a hall pass for the night, so I'll be out drinking either way.

I saw that she has a holiday CD, Billy, and it's not my thing either. It's probably going to come down to whether or not I have to pay for the tix.
