I sweated blood writing this blurb.

Toiling through the night with fevered brow, I finally completed my copy, rushed into the Hip-D headquarters and handed it in to Bob, quite the dandy in his green visor by the way, at the point of physical and mental exhaust.

Walking home, still shivering and nauseous from the deadline pressures, I wondered, 'Why do I do it? Why do I push myself to the brink?'

But when I see this sort of response all doubts are erased. The overwhelming silence, nay apathy, has amazed me. Thank you, thank you so much for your complete indifference.

Tomorrow, I will return to my keyboard with a renewed vigour, eager to write my second blurb which I can only hope garners a similar level of acclaim.

I wrote this off initially, but for some reason I walked out of Best Buy with it one day and now it's really grown on me.

I'm guessing it'll be pretty high on my girlfriend's list too.

Settle down, Beavis. It's Saturday.

Oh, and it's Jenny Lewis.

i just read this now. (where's #17??)

her mild, pop ruminations of love & religion, backed by the watson twins with some slight-country flair, seem to click here. not overwhelmingly intelligent, but witty enough to be a repeated pleasant listen.
