Where you at FT??!?!?!

Falcs gotta have this one. Should be nuts in the Dome tonight.

We have to be perfect on offense tonight to get this win.

I don't predict the same Cowboy team as last week will show up.

Prediction:

Morton Anderson breaks the all time NFL scoring record with a game winner tonight,

27-24

Any thoughts on the effects of Jim Mora's comments this week?

I take it with a grain of salt. If I were talking with my college roommate I doubt I'd be even that reserved while boasting about jobs, girls, music, etc..

Yeah, but it's unlikely your college roommate would be live on air, broadcasting to a city of 600,000 at the time. Reading the transcript, there's no doubt that there was a grain of truth in his comments. As a UW alum, I'd welcome him---I've joined FT in the FireTyClub.

Is Mora getting crucified in the Atlanta media this weekend?

Yes. I heard about 50 "fire Mora" calls on 790 while i was driving around doing xmas shopping today.

Fucking Dick Vermeil's voice is too brutal. I know the guy is sick or whatever, but can't they bring in Mariucci from t he pregame desk to do color?

Now 14-0 'Boys in the 1st, after a Vick int returned for a TD. Looking ugly for the ATL.

Yikes. Awful.

So glad Vick dedicated his performance this week to the fans.

Way to take the crowd out of it Mike. Christ.

Not giving up yet tho.

Just got home.

THIS GAME IS NOT ON TELEVISION IN THIS GODFORSAKEN STATE

Of course, I am going for the Cowboys, but it is always hard for me to pull against the Falcs. I guess the choice has been made for me, and I just don't get to watch the fucker.

Hold on, you don't have the NFL Network down there? Move. Yesterday.

I guess you are out of market but they are simulcasting it on WXIA here.

Femgar (an open bigger Cboys fan than I) just called Knology and got the "due to licensing fee problems..." voice message. I will be surprised if we are subscribers come monday.

No shit. FemGAR makes us look like doormats when it comes taking on companies. I admire her moxie.

This game has had some fucking video game plays so far.

oh yeah - and worse announcing team ever. when gumbel is the strongest person in the booth you have a serious problem. my rendition:

gumbel - we have a draw play up the middle. dick - what do you think of that

vermeil - yeah that was a draw play

gumbel - i know, dick. what did you think of the call

vermeil - great call. great play right there.

faulk - yeah

Nice Rodney.

Possibly the most entertaining first half of football I've watched all year in the NFL.

I'm sure we'll have 5 turnovers in the 2nd.

I tend to be pretty pessimistic with pro football.

I just tuned into this with 2:00 to go in the 3rd, looks like a close game. Was it a crazy first half? 31-28 C'boys at the moment. Man, I hope the Falcons pull this off.

P.S. Bulls beat the Hawks by 1 in OT.

cowboys secondary lol

Man, we've got the worst pass defense ever. You guys definitely played well enough to win, especially Ron Mexico. Sure, we're probably going to make the playoffs, but we're just going to get embarrassed once we get there. So, what's the point?

Who in the NFC will embarass the Cowboys? I think it's wide open. They very well could be the NFC representative in the Superbowl. Or they could lose their first game. Same goes for any team in the NFC.

Dude, they gave up FOUR PASSING TDs BY RON MEXICO!!! Nothing against King Herp, but he's not exactly known for carving up secondaries with his arm, yet he was doing a pretty good Elway impersonation tonight. The only way they can win games is to outscore teams, which is not the formula for success in the playoffs.

The 49ers? Oh wait, they only embarass the Seahawks.
