Yep, the other trick is getting someone to run it. I counted almost 500 votes that night - stood for 6 hours. Boo hoo, etc., but remember - while you're running music and counting shit, they're all drinking and sitting down having fun. Still - worth it if you can manage.




Times like that is when you need Bloor and his bingo night experience.


The downside is that Bloor doesn't work for free.

Yeah, and I can't even ply him with top-shelf vodka anymore.

Shit I'll talk the "I don't work free" talk all night, till it comes to my wife's 30th. Baby wants a Top 5 party, baby gets it. My job was to see that shit go off without a hitch for as long as possible, and I'm proud to say I busted my ass.

Ficks and Mr Ficks came over, and made a noble effort to soldier through the remainder of that keg. I think they missed their show. We had a good time, tho.
