already have my chicago tickets. i keep hearing hit/miss about him live and that he talks a lot, so i'm interested to see how it goes.

when i saw him a few years ago he played for an obscenely long amount of time and definitely did talk a lot. it was a very enjoyable show though. he plays a ton of songs and takes a cigarette break that amounts to set break. i don't know if i'd go see him again as i haven't listened to anything of his since "Have you fed the fish?" but if you're a fan, he's very charming and worth seeing.

haha, well, that should be interesting. the venue he's playing here is smoke-free, so maybe he'll go outside.
