Join the fuck up, dudes. Ditch the Soulseek Obner room. The Obner DC server is way more exciting.

Downloads are very fast, although you can throttle your bandwidth if that's an issue. It's just about perfect, if you ask me.

My downloads are slow at times, too. I think it might have to do with how much network traffic is going on on the other end of things.

Other than a few oggs and wmas, yes. I've been slowly ripping my collection over the last year, and I download like a maniac from newsgroups. I love having just about anything I would want to listen to available at the click of a mouse.

Chuck D,

I used the Mac client that was listed Second in Colin's initial post.

Use this one... http://www.neo-modus.com/?page=Download I have Mac OSX 10.3.7 but I think any version of OSX will work.

I downloaded it, installed it, and was up and running with the passwords and such...

From there it is pretty easy. You need to have the address from Colin, and his password for you.

Switching to passive mode in the Windows format made everything work just fine. I like this program, just need to add to the digital collection by ripping a whole lot more. Thanks for hooking this up.

Regards,
jc

I can't browse anyones files.
I'm annoyed.

I opened ports and put in the ip addresses and TCP ports and UDP ports and I'm annoyed, but I said that.

Jealous? Slsk is all about selection and I listen to stuff others don’t. The new Meister (Dec. 2004) is one of my favorites that no one even knows about, but found it on slsk.

Have fun!

That was all a reaction to G’s post, nothing less but nothing more.

Fuck the haters! So I’m a bit drunk…

Bee.OK: 'Scoo bro. This is meant to be a more private forum anyways for people averse to slsk and the ilk. Do what you will.
