Hey, even Jimi opened up for the Monkees. Why? Because The Monkees were big fans and were trying to get him some exposure.

i'm not saying that that's the case here, but it is a pretty funny lineup.

Maybe...it's just that Muse recently headlined at Wembley Stadium. There's just no comparison!!

I don't get it.

i really had no idea muse was so big in america (playing 4000-capacity venues in major cities), but these are huge arenas. bloc party just opened for panic at a disco. are they on the same label or booked through the same agency? that might be why. or how about silversun pickups opening for snow patrol next year, too? weird lineups are everywhere.

I thought Bloc Party dropped from the Panic at the Disco tour since they did not play the Omaha area date. I thought Plain White Tees filled in for them.
I also see that we officially booked this show after a hold on it. I might have to request tickets so I can see Muse.

Muse is going to blow those guys off the stage. I'll be the first to admit that their records are kind of slick. I don't know a great deal about MCR in a live setting, but Muse's live show was impressive at ACL.

Silversun Pickups opening for Snow Patrol, I totally understand. SP are quite popular in the US.

According to Pollstar now, Rise Against is opening up for My Chemical Romance here. That really sucks. I was hoping to see Muse for free. It's like there is an unwritten rule against UK bands playing Nebraska.

I've noticed Muse is starting to get some serious radio play as well.
