A lot of these I've only heard bits and pieces of, but judging by those bits and pieces a lot of them would make my list, too. Just didn't feel rigght putting them on there.

Good list.

i only listened to that hot snakes once, but i also got it on a day when i did serious damage at the record store, so i think it just got left behind in favor of something else i got that day - probably night ripper.

Glad I'm not the only one digging that Willie Nelson album. Best thing he's put out in a long time.

I love that Bruce doesn't even have a title...

I've got an excel spread sheet going over here.

I'm just waiting on christmas gift cards. I know they're coming because my family NEVER has any idea what to buy me outside of my folks.

Oh and Loog, I need to get that Sol Burke album from you sometime.

Great list, now turn yourself into the Montgomery county authorities.

I have figured out why I like this and not the bs most of y'all pimp.

Rap is about EGO and SHIT TALKING. And it needs good, propulsive beats, not harps and bongos. And lots of bass to ride to.

Since most of the clipse fans are self loathing nonces, this suddenly fell into place for me.

Then where the f*ck is Ghostface on your list? For someone who talks shit about only liking rap with gigantic beats and lyrics about selling 'caine, you done whiffed on that one.

And I didn't even notice that ass-tastic Jay-Z record on there the first time...

What's the deuce is the matter with you?

i'm usually on board with everything loog has to say about hip hip, but his thoughts on The Clipse don't make much sense to me. And i don't even like the Clipse.

Indeed. I could live with the rest of Loog's list pretty easily as well, except the Numero Uno, but no 2 people are gonna line up exactly, I reckon.

What you don't realize is that before Loog ventured into other forms of music he was Mr. Blunt Smoking Gangsta Rap in the early-mid 90's.

Now, I didn't know that Loog but I imagine that period will forever color the way he listens to hip hop.

Oh, and that TI is the shit.

Use people like Scotty D who refer to anything that is not gangster rap as "white folks music" as your mirror.

This brings up a wedding-related question that popped into my head whilst listening to BlooGAR #7 last night:

Was Scotty D barred from the wedding by the missus? Seems like if he were there we'd certainly have heard tales of his exploits.

No, he was there and actually gave a toast. Maybe we'll hit it next time. I dont think either of us wanted to bloat the whole show down with wedding talk.

He did grab the mic, and there was a moment of "and the whole thing gets ruined right now" thought, but he was pretty gracious, if not obviously WASTED.

SD knows there a few things he isn't allowed to fuck up.
