I had a down year purchasing wise so I haven’t had the chance to hear the entire albums by The Dears, The Hold Steady, Mew, Camera Obscura, Lupe Fiasco, Spank Rock, The Knife, Midlake, The Brother Kite, Junior Boys, The Roots, Hot Chip …plus many others

I thought Art Brut came out last year? Decent album tho...what I've heard of it. Only have a few tracks from emusic.

it's US release was around February '06...we just don't wait around for stuff like that

i don't jump all over imports early..(even though this one was out for quite awhile in the UK)

I still don't have TV On The Radio, though all the songs I've heard tell me I should get it.

It did. Probably would have been my #1, had it been a 2006 release. I LOVE that album!

When was is released? The only thing i show is May 9, 2006. I tried getting it for quite awhile but was always told the release date was pushed back.
