Of Ipod owners.

My dad gave me a Nano last night. My creative is being phased out so the battery is hard to find and he knew this, so this was my xmas present.

I always thought they were evil til recently so it feels weird owning one.

My poor children felt neglected this morning as I've been loading this thing most of the day when I could.

I do have to admit this thing is pretty awesome. I'm psyched.

enjoy. im gonna spend some time this week loading up my relatively new ipod. plus im getting an external hd for xmas so should be able to go fully electronic. but just wish i had a 10 year old i could pay to do this work for me.

Dude, it's all about the portable CD player.

one of the best things about mp3 players is that when i'm in a record store i can just check out what i've been listening to a lot on it and don't have to wander around trying to remember what i wanted.

i still rock that. have never owned any sort of mp3 player. the last cd player i had was aces, this panasonic model. unfortunately it took a nasty spill and the little latch that keeps the unit closed broke so now i've got this philips one that i bought for $20 which, in direct correspondance to its price, kind of sucks.

I still carry my portable record player about.

Yeah, that's a definate plus. I used to always draw a blank any time I walked into a record store.

That's how I feel. Last flight I was on, an elderly gentleman sat next to me and I pulled out my Sony Discman and he says, "oh, I brought my mp3 player and DVD player for entertainment too." I was too embarrassed to say, "I don't own any of that technology."

There's a portable waterproof sports radio in the desk drawer my new Mac is on, cost me 25 cents at a garage sale. I use it to check the station I work at or listen to public radio sometimes when I walk the dog. And I walk past all the ipoders with this little plastic thing clipped to my jacket pocket. No headphones. And boy am I the hipster.


Next comes the boom box. Yeah.
