It is a serious deficiency of mine. Is there some sort of trick to it? Wrapping a present is probably the most frustrating thing I've ever done in my life.

So you've got wrapping issues. Things could be worse. It's covered, right?

Yeah, it only took about three layers of wrap.

Damn, I've lost all sense of perspective. It's kind of like when I went to Italy and saw the Kritios Boy and I was amazed at how small that sculputure is or when I was in Chicago and freaked out at how big the Seurat is...I have to remember "cows in the distance are really full-sized when I'm standing in the field with them."

well, the person you're giving it to must be really special to get 3 bows, so 1 poppin' up shouldn't be a problem.

I was going to make fun of you, but then I did my wrapping and had to resort to Velcro on one of them.

i have trouble wrapping presents, too. the problem is really only with sides. you know that part where you fold it in corners and then fold it up? i can't do that at all. i used to have a serious problem estimating how much paper would wrap a box, but i'm way better than even two years ago.

Hey, speaking of wrapping things up, how 'bout them Bears today?

I always want to resort to that, but I think the effort counts for something.

We wrapped things up last week, but I'll take 13-2 anytime. :)

Although, I'd much rather have lost to the Lions this week and beat the Packers than the other way around.

There's no way were going to lose to the Packers at home next week.

You know this. I know this. Even Farve knows it.

That gift should be your avatar, it's got a goofy charlie brown christmas kind of charm to it.

I can wrap a gift, and i did. Then i had my friend dave wrap the rest while i went grocery shopping for dinner last night.

Everyone won.

I think the trick for the sides is trimming some excess off so you can fold it in.

This is why you have the Salvation Army kiosk at the mall wrap everything.

Oh it's just wrapping. It's always really cute to think about a guy sitting there trying to wrap a gift. Maybe that's just me, though, but honestly, guys aren't really programmed correctly to wrap a neat gift.

I'm an awesome gift wrapper, but it's a talent that is sadly wasted as the only thing I've given anybody lately is the flu.

If you can wrap a tidy petri dish you can incorporate your festive paper skills.

Women are better at this kind of stuff. It's basically encoded in their DNA.
