Sondre Lerche - Phantom Punch

This is very, very good. Only the last track is a clunker. So, for those scoring 2007 leaks at home, that makes two disappointments (The Shins and Of Montreal) and two pleasant surprises (this and The Apples in Stereo).

If you weren't on Timis's distro for this, it might be time to get on his good side.

I like that Menomena album. Haven't heard the Of Montreal or AIS and have only listened to The Shins once or twice.

i don't think it's as good as their debut but there's a couple of songs that may be the best things they've ever done.

for what it's worth, i totally disagree with FT on the new Shins album. there are some freakin' awesome songs on that album, and as a whole it's grown on me. will definitely purchase it when it's released.

on that i can agree. but spend some time with it and it think it will reveal itself. did for me at least.
