Love what I've heard off this rekkerd.
And it's an interesting review, Loogs.

Overall, a nice choice.

I don't know who you are anymore D.

I think I had the same initial impression, more production and less crunch, more straightforward rock and less "southern thing".

I came around and think this is one of finest batch of songs they've put out and for me, the slow ones are the stars of this album.

I love "Space City" and "World of Hurt" and I have a feeling that "Easy on Yourself" will bring TEH ROCK live.

I think it could also be viewed as a transition record. They've been road dogs for the last 7-8 years (in current incarnation) and, like stated before by others, they have had enough success that they realize that they are going to have a long career and they are deciding what direction they want to go in.

Let's just pray that with Isbell's genius truly starting to shine it doesn't cause rifts in the band.

Also, the classic pitfall that is COCAINE usually starts to rear it's ugly head around this time in a band's career.

It might if he's got ten more "Dress Blues"-level tunes on his solo release.

I'm with Derris on this one. I didn't dig it too much at first, but I eventually came around.

I'm having lunch with LooGAR in just over an hour, and am seriously considering contaminating his Chipotle in some manner for turning in such a GARBAGE review.

Please feel free to post all burrito contamination suggestions in this thread...

Visine, aka the "Wedding Crasher". Is that even true?

I'm having second thoughts, as I'm not sure I want to risk losing a finger (or fingerS)...

I think I saw Patterson walking around Athens yesterday. Probably others from the band with him, but he's the only face I remember from way back when.

As usual, Derris is on the money; LooGAR is a piece of trash not worth the paper he is printed on etc.

This from a guy who's gone so gar as to QUIT DRINKING.

I'll start worrying about what people like you and Derris think the day you do ANYTHING productive with your lives.

And, I tried it again, but this medicine don't seem to be taking.
