I'm still working and it has been honestly one of the worst nights in the history of my owning Picasso's....just a F*ing nightmare that will probably haunt me for a year to come. Terrible. I had to come up here to the office to breathe and not strangle some---no---ALL the guests curently in the dining room. just a nightmare. Did I mention it was horrible?

Poor Chris. Sorry to hear you're having a horrible night.

As for me, it's almost 8:30pm and I just can't go on. I'm tired of typing and writing. My eyes are becoming cross-eyed.

Did someone say "Martini Night"? No...well, I just did!

It's 10:40pm, and I'm waiting up for some late check-ins. I have to stay here overnight then get up and work till 4pm tomorrow.

Then I will drink till I'm on the floor

Looks like I'm back to my old schedule of late hours.

9:20pm...surely it's time for me to go home.

Beachy,
I don't know you, and have never even had a post-discussion with you, but as a fellow Obnerian I say,"That sucks!!". I work in a restaurant, and have for 5.5 years, and I know how it is when it just hits that complete shit stage that there is no crawling out of. I hope your New Year had a good ending! I'm just reading this now and thinking of all the crap-ass customers I've had for the past few years...
"I want tomato on my burger." " I'm sorry, we are out of tomato." (saying this while pointing at the large red notice placed in our menu) "What do you mean there's no tomato??" "Sir, I'm sorry, but the hurricanes in the southeastern part of the county killed the tomato crop, so there is a serious shortage and the family-owned restaurant I work for couldn't afford to buy tomatoes at $43 a case (versus $9 a case like they had been previously)." "I don't care. I want to talk to your manager... (to the manager) Yes, your server refused to give me tomato on my sandwich..." Like it's my fault. Yes, Beachy, I understand. Salutations to you. I think I wouldn't mind the service industry so much if the locale didn't suck as well... warm and sand and oceans make it better.

Doesn't matter what time I start my day, I STILL end up staying here 12+ hours.

I have a seminar that I need to prepare a PowerPoint presentation for. My desk is swimming in paper. I need to leave a set of instructions for my department. Send email. Scan a buncha documents. And it's almost 8:00pm!

Help...

I think we've been bred like those female German athletes from back in the day. Do you shotput or throw a javelin by any chance?

Well, we ALL know that you're a Super Woman! You look great in a cape!

Btw, everytime I look at your avatar, it reminds me of doughy testicles. Dunno why. Please don't tell Opa, he'll want to use it as his screensaver.

It's a cycle -- THAT time of year. I've gotta be a sport about it, I guess.
