Yay Hip-D folk...nice, eclectic top 20!

And a great way to keep us readers guessing by posting them one-at-a-time. :)

"The Blues are Still Blue" was the first song that reeled me in, but I think my favorite track is "To Be Myself Completely."

Very cool that you all put this together. Been following it as it went along. FT congrats on wrangling these people into doing reviews  it was probably hard enough to get lists out of them.

Any chance of Radcliffe every posting on Hip-D has just been completely obliterated.

Bobbo -- this is your chance for glory -- get Rads to do an album by album response to our picks and "reviews"

It would give him something to do, and would show us what things like "wit" and "coherence" can do for our writing.

MAKE IT HAPPEN LUMMOX!!

As for this album, again, despite all the hype, I never bothered to even give it a spin.

An excellent idea, very similar to Tanner's idea of a Point/Counterpoint between Radcliffe and others on certain albums, notably this #1.

Good idea IN THEORY, but what happens when the RCMP shuts down our site, as a result?

Seems like a win for everybody, to me.

You just want to see a shackled Uncle Monger paraded past cameras like so much John Mark Karr, don't you? Or would he more likely resemble Kaczynski, based on his years hunkered down in the British Columbia wilderness?

I'd like to see TEH ENTIRE DALLAS SWAT TEAM, rolling you into the paddy wagon (a 747) ala a FAAAAAT Hannibal Lecter.

I think in this whole scenario, Rads would come off like Ted Bundy in court.

Strange #1 for a list that isn't really eclectic, but pretty consistently interested in centrist crunchy rock. Which makes wonder why Hold Steady didn't even make your list... that rabbit fur coat crap does but drugs, rock and roll, and bruce doesn't...

Good list and good reviews and nice link to fav track.

With a small staff, almost any album with 2 votes makes the list...

So, take it up with the rest of the "writers" for not having BRUUUUUCE on there.

Whoa, Loogs! You're really missing out I think. I mean, this is kinda the opposite of JAIL, but not really. Much more subtle than a billyclub and handcuffs, but at the end of the day, you're still locked up.
