Lyres - She Pays The Rent
The Lime Spiders - Slave Girl

Catchy, rockin'... these 2 have it all.

Tell me that you don't agree:

Cool. "Posing For Pictures" came upon random for me a few minutes ago, but I haven't heard "Slave Girl" in ages.

Lime Spiders rawk. Don't remember which song that is, though. What album is it from?

Hoodoo Gurus are playing NXNW, too.

The Lime Spiders disc that song's from is Headcleaner. My favorite LS is The Cave Comes Alive.

Are they still around? Why do I even ask.

Definitely two of the greatest. That's my fave Lime Spiders track by far. Not my fave Lyres though (that honor goes to "Help You Ann") - in fack, I've always prefered the Nomads cover of "She Pays The Rent" to the Lyres original.

Damn, thanks for posting these. That Lime Spiders song is awesome.

I think has inspired me to make a mix of my fave garage rock songs.

Anybody got a ysi handy of The Sonics "Psycho"?

If this is indicative of your garage mix Ben, get it done and send it to me YESTERDAY. That song is awesome.

Modem, the ones you posted is good, too. Thanks all.

I no longer have Here Are The Sonics on vinyl, but have some tracks on the computer. They were equal parts Kinks and Kingsmen, with some proto-punk tones.

I'll post up a few here in little bit

From what I have read, and this one song, I may have to go *gasp* buy a comp or something. I can't wait to put this on a disc and blare it from my truck.
