I figured, rather than starting a new thread, I'd just bump last year's 10 day reminder. I'm a conservationist.

Note: This year, Northern Soul has already voted.

mmmk...
mods
now is your chance to earn the title

here is my list
http://www.obner.org/bb/viewtopic.php?t ... atyous+top

unfortunately for me
most of these bands are too cool and aren't on the list
i started adding them all to the charts
and it looks like that sort of thing will take all day
i mean...
could the "all powerful obner god" create a multiple chart addition page?
OR
one of you takes half the list and helps this crakerass add em?

really
i do want to vote

Everytime I think my list is done I listen to something I left off and have to bump and redo. This usually doesn't happen to me. I think its just a year with like 7 or 8 really great albums and like 25-30 really good ones. Oh well, time is running out.

I still gotta do this. My list for Hip D was great but I need to make a couple of adjustments.

yeah, I can definitely see bumping that Neil Young Live album, now that I have heard that M. Ward and some other things...BUT, I have TEH LAZY and TEH AVERAGE TASTE, so why would I do that?

Then again, Ting Ting La La's new one is officialy an 07 release.

On first listen I really like it. I can see why its high on so many lists, and wish that I had copped it earlier.

I was afraid that it would be like The Transfiguration of Vincent, where I really liked a few songs, and thought a few were meh.

I still can't grasp The Hold Steady, though. Just not my thing I guess.

Me either. I like a few songs, but the rest just aren't doing it for me. I'm not sure if it's the copy I have (I doubt it), but the background completely drowns out the vocals on most songs. And lyrics supposedly being one of this dude's strong suits, I don't think that's a good thing.

Funny, I was going to type JUST that. I like the Springsteen meets Thin Lizzy sound, but i can't barely hear a fucking word that dude says...and what he says is supposed to be teh best part.. o/\0
