 Post subject: fellow songwriters . . . taking advice from the Beatles

Rubber Soul is 14 songs and 36 minutes long.
only ONE song is over 3 minutes.


now if i can just figure out how to pack 10 awesome hooks and melodies all over the place into 2:30 i'm good to go.





edit: the times are based on "Dr. Ebbetts Beatles Lossless" mix, i assume they are the same time on the original version.

Bless ya man, I love the instant gratification of it. One would think we would have more of it nowadays. I couldn't handle it 24/7, but it is somewhat of a lost art.
