i'll hook you up with a copy of massive attack - danny the dog and sparklehorse since they're on our label and i feel like being nice since you'll be in town. :)

as far as i'm concerned, i should be around so let me know when you want to do the baja/amoeba tradition. ironically enough, i started compiling a want list because i knew you were coming to town soon.

show-wise:
1/18 - the colour @ spaceland (not sure if you're into them but if you want to check them out, let me know cuz i can get guest list for that)
1/18 - low vs. diamond @ the troub
1/19 - subtle & pigeon john @ the troub (can also get g/l for this if you're interested in going)

that's all i can find for now... or we could always go to short stop and try to stalk dulli. ;)

Yay on the CD's!

Definitely Baja.....Better get your list ready!!!! It makes me feel less guilty when I can make someone buy spend purchase consume like me :)

As for shows on the 18th, I'll still be in Anaheim and I think my Type O is on that night as well....I'll check out Subtle and Pigeon John though...I think you had mentioned PJ before....

and Dulli and the Twilights will be getting back from Austrailia on the 14th, so who knows?? maybe he'll want to relax at his own little pub for a few days and unwind! heh heh!

That's a solid shopping list that rivals my own.

Hope you have a good time on your trip.

ummm crap.. i actually did consider editing for the obner contigent, but then i decided i didnt care...

they be alright. i had all the records, and liked em for the most part, but then decided i never really listened to them, so i decided to condense, and just get the 'Best Of' and sell off the rest.

I can finally give you your Warlocks poster.

I have to admit, I have mixed emotions seeing you. Not that I wouldn't love to. It's just that...last time you were here, certain events happened that I'm still sensitive about.

It'll be great to see you, Dov. I'm hoping to spare some free time from work.

Hey Tania

I remember the night. :(

We have a shared bond, and if anything, you know I went thru it too 5 years ago, this Saturday.

I hope we do get to hang out, even if just for an hour or so.. Shopping for music always makes me feel better, ya know! But, i'll understand otherwise.

couldn't get list for the subtle show - we didn't get solicited for tickets... sorry. but there's other things we can get into. instead of baja for lunch on sat, you down for some zankou chicken instead?!?! there's one not too far from amoeba.

zankou = awesome.

This is what it looks like right now (I THINK)

Thur - Arrive / drive to Anaheim / Work / do some sort of dinner/drinks with client

Fri - Work till 4 / drive to Hollyweird / Check in / relatively OPEN and free rest of the time.

Sat - Zankou Chicken lunch & Amoeba visit #1 with Dri (Tania and Billy???) / Type o Negative Private Show back in Anaheim at night)

Sun - Open

Mon - lunch with Century Media Records / visiting Universal Records and Warner Brothers Records as well. / possibly dinner and drinks with a friend that night

Tue - fly home.

So basically, Friday night I'm, Saturday till 6 asnd all day Sunday I am free.....Over my trip, I do need at least 6-8 hours to walk around Amoeba. I also need to check out Second Spin and Fingerprints (Sat or Sun is ideal)......Who is up for a record store tour? I'll drive!

btw, my want list, has almost doubled.
