Their song Fireworks came on KEXP and I liked it alot. Couldn't find out much about them besides their myspace page. Apparently they're a Milwaukee Band.

Their #1 myspace friend is Vancougar, which bespeaks an awesomeness and awesomosity that knows no bounds.

The song Fircracker came on KEXP this morning and I really dug it. I hadn't heard it before. They had something on their site about being CMJ's most underrated band and debut or something.

They're from Madison, actually, I think... & they're playing a show this weekend/early next week in MKE (@ Miramar Theatre; around the corner from Atomic Records) with nickisnotdead's jazzbo combo.

Go see it, MKE Obners (well, that means DHR_Jehrico & Back_space). & tell the upright bassist that Montague says hello... right up his butt, & around the corner. Plus, I hope that the retail sales career is working out, considering his history of workplace theft (mid- to high-ticket items, too!). Oh, & when are he & his wife going to make good on their vows & procreate. (The world needs more hipsters... Breed, you fuckin' Williamsburg wannabes, breed!)

Their bio says Milawaukee. Nickisnotdead aside, do you like GNL?

Never heard 'em... I don't like many local bands, past or extant. Citizen King is a notable exception; as well, Compound Red (when the replacement lead vox isn't tripping acid) & the Etiquette (quite possibly irono-contrarian 80s hairspray rock, but I make an exception & get down).
