Thanks! Sounds good, glad they aren't changing things up drastically from Funeral. I can't wait for this album!

I hope this indicates an equal awesomness on the new album. A better single than any on their last.

This is the first of I believe three tracks that I've heard from this album that I like to the point of actually thinking it's pretty good. I find it curious from the tracklisting that they have rerecorded two songs from the initial EP for "Neon Bible".

Pardon me while I groan. What, is Springsteen the new My Bloody Valentine of indie rock?

i'm not actually a springsteen fan; to be honest, i would usually go out of my way to avoid hearing springsteen, but what the arcade fire are up to, i dig it. i know it's contradictory, but it's how i feel.

I assure you, the analogy is amiss.

I don't care for this at all. 'Black Wave/Bad Vibrations' is okay, though.

Either way, I think I'm over the Arcade Fire. I'm just not that into this or excited about the new one. Not nearly as much as the Shins or Modest, at least.

Yes, but I think they changed the title. They hated how it originally came out on the EP. The vocals are horrible.

I liked that first song that was bouncing around from the BBC but this song is a total snooze. I'm seriously surprised at the positive reactions posted thus far. I don't mean any offense or anything I'm honestly perplexed. I guess to each his or her own...

Really? This isn't bad, but (after just one listen) I think most the songs from Funeral are better than this one.

Maybe it's just the familiarity with those songs, but my initial reaction to Black Mirror is  .

i have only heard 2 songs, but they make me feel like this is more of an album to be heard in its entirety than piecemeal. (viva voce was the last one like that for me.)

XMU has been playing a single for a month or so, and I love it. Gotta see if this is the song...

(hits play)

Nope. So far so good though.

Did anyone else notice that the drums and rhythm to this song sounds exactly like Bowie's "Suffragette City"?

I actually thought that about some of the first album... and about some of the Wolf Parade record. Sorry Ish.
