...then you need to let your music fan license expire, cause you aren't one. I know there has been A LOT of hype about this film, well mostly about Jamie Fox's performance. But it deserves every bit, if not more. It's just really good, plain and simple. I saw it and drove straight to Best Buy to get the soundtrack.
Living in Georgia for the better part of my life, I couldn't make it through any state approved event (Stone Mountain Laser Show, any fireworks display, etc.) without hearing Georgia On My Mind. It is after all, the state song. I mean, I heard it so many times that I didn't even notice it anymore. But when that song plays in this movie, it brought a fucking tear to my eye. He truly is a genius. And this movie absolutley captures that.
I'm pretty sure it came out on DVD today. GO RENT IT OR PUT IT ON YOUR NETFLIX OR WHATEVER, NOW!!!

Ray is from Toccoa, n'est-ce pas?
Along with Little Richard (Macon) and James Brown (Augusta) I think we invented rock n roll, bitches!

I have yet to see this, but am gonna pick it up today. Hell, Busty, Scotty D told me its the best movie he's ever seen. So it gotta be good.

Don't forget Collective Soul (stockbridge)

Edit: I'd like to see this movie, along with a bunch of other ones so if you wanna come over and babysit for free so the wife and I can get out, I'd be more than happy to see it.

For Real. Just went through Stockbridge earlier Timmy, but I didn't see the boys so I couldn't say HI. Sorry, bub.

Oh, and I want to see Ray. Today. On a pile of hay. Busty, y'all gay. G'day.
