wh is to say that beli isn't a nice guy? he gives the media no access to the pats so they bust his balls. i have never seen any indication that he isn't a nice guy. as for shoving the photographer, i can tell you as a photographer myself that if you put yourself in the way of the events you are shooting, shit like that happens all the time. it's really no big deal.

now, as for the chargers talking about the patriots having no class and lt saying maybe it comes from the head coach... that's the funniest shit i have ever heard. the chargers lost that game because of a headbut out of the blue after a turnover on downs!!! losing a game because of being classless and then complaining about a lack of clas during the celebration is amazing.

You mean, three-points victories in the Super Bowl aren't entirely the work of the QB?

& all this time, I thought that Brady was the new Blanda, punt-pass-n-kicking his way to the record-books....

I meant: you're correct.

Brady is the team's "leader", but he is not the team.

As to the Patriots in the postseason, Vinatieri was at least as much of a postseason meast as T-Brad. (Though, yes, I think he has lost more Super Bowls than Brady. (AV was kicking for the '96 Pats that lost to the Green Bay Gunslinger's Mentality.))

Yeah, it would take an entire roster of Viniatieris to offset Manning's mammoth mound of mattress manure.

Colts 34 - Pats 21

I hate Brady, from the gate, his private school high school (Serra) history, to Michigan career, to boring Boston superiority and Bush support... the Stepford wife-Cheney suck up QB. I am so fucking tired of the Pats... they are the Tom Cruise of football champions... please... get.... off.... the .... American ... Stage.... forever....

Not so much apropos of this particular post, but I have always been confused by the term "bed-shitting". Does it mean "losing a game", or "losing a game, abysmally"? My first thought leans to the latter, but it seems anytime one of your (i.e. the ATL Krewe & their sycophants & sinecures) whipping-boys loses, it's due "shitting the bed". But, let's say the game is competitive (a la the Saints-Eagles tilt of Saturday) -- does the loser still get pegged as "bed-shitter"?

(Note: "competitive" doesn't necessarily mean "small margin of victory". E.g., Houston shat the bed when they lost to Buffalo, in '93.)

let me see if i understand you correctly... you dislike brady because he went to sierra high school. that's weird. as for the bush support, i think you will find that most of your favorite professional athletes vote republican if they vote at all. sad but true. could you define 'boston superiority' and explain how brady exhibits it? oh, and i would love to try and understand how manning is a more applealing personality to anyone. he doesn't win big games and i have to suffer his ugly mug on every advertisement i am subjected to during an nfl game. maybe you prefer his politics?

IMO it means multiple things.
It can either be:
A: You play a close game that you should have won, but lose it due to one incredibly stupid play.
B: You are favored by double digits and lose a close game to a lesser opponent, and your star players or highly vaunted offense and defense look worse than they have all year
C. In what should be a close game, you get completely blown out in every aspect of the game.
D. In a game you are completely dominating, you somehow find a way to lose it, i.e. the Houston Oilers scenario.

so say if your assistant just up and left you to play for one of your hated rivals you wouldn't have ANY hard feelings? right.

and as for the pushing of the cameraman, he apologized to him.

y'all are just jealous.

Yeah I don't understand Tomlinson. If Merriman's dance is okay & in good taste during the game, then it's okay to mock after the game. Are we gonna draw the line as to who can dance & where they can dance & what dance & blah blah blah. How about all celebration dances are in bad taste & disrespectful to your opponent? It's either that or free dance, make up your mind.

"it's disprectful for them to come in here & disrespect what we've built here"

Built? Two postseason apperances in the last 5 seasons & both times you've been bounced at home after a first round bye. The only thing the Chargers have built is a reputation as chokers. "Build" what the Pats have before you talk about what respect you should get.

Tomlinson is a STUD who's worth all the praise, I'm actually upset his season is over. As an inpartial fan I'd rather watch him than anyone else left. But seeing him at the podium just now whining all I could do is think this is below him. And wonder if his earrings could be any bigger.

didn't he not make the superbowl because of a missed kick last year?
and didn't he lose to a few of viniatieri's clutch kicks?
