What is Spankrock?

I think I need to hear the Clipse.

Lots of people here seem to like it lots (me included, obvi), but I'm not sure it would be your cup of tea, Timmy. You don't have a single hip hop or rap artist in your top 20.

I really liked this, but figured most people wouldn't.

Nice list. We've got some similarities, as usual, and some not. I still need to listen to Peter, Bjorn & John. Also would like to hear that KFW album.

What is Envy?

Yea, I don't like "the rap" so much.
I do like Blackalicious, and hip hop songs that get radio play.

I like Hella, but have started to grown tired of them and that type of music recently. I probably would have really been into this album (Shred Earthship) a few years ago in college.

PBJ (heh) was a latecomer, but really hit me hard. It might have climbed even higher if I had more of a chance to listen to it.

I could prob hook you up with the KFW if you are interested. It's pretty good and has moments of transcendence, but is somewhat hard to digest since its one long track 40+ minutes long.

Envy is a japanese post-rock/post-hardcore band signed to Temporary Residence. Pretty intense music, it can be really beautiful and then pummeling in a matter of moments. Screaming vox mostly, and all in japanese.

It's been widely verified that Tommy's got great taste and I'll be checking out a lot of these at some point soon.

I just got that Envy last week and haven't had enough chances to listen to it yet, but so far it's pretty great.

I'm surprised you've got Palo Santo ranked so low, Tommy.
