SXSW 2007

damnit, flights are pricey from la to austin. it'd be cheaper for me to fly from la to ny then to austin. i might have to reconsider since i'm moving again in march as well.

Hey, we posted an initial lineup of 240 bands this morning on Austinist. The SXSW guys are worried about day parties stealing their thunder, so they're 'hiding' the band list until closer to the fest. So while our list is only a quarter of the lineup, at least it's something to start with.

Also, Dri, check Southwest.com from LA, and if that doesn't work, try flying into San Antonio, which is only an hour away (70 miles).

sorry kids - official decision, i'm not going to sxsw. reasons being, i'm considering moving out of la which is like 75% for sure... after a lot of thought over the weekend and with all that's been going on, i need to do this and this my opportunity to what i've been wanting to do.
