Free e-file is awesome. I did both federal and state that way. Refunds are also awesome. I will say that one benefit of having a crappy low-paying job and not owning anything is very simple taxes.

i haven't even gotten my w2 yet.

i filed mine on saturday, though i'm worried about getting audited. i didn't claim some stuff.

I owe an assload.

...and I use a CPA. More than I can afford but, with the crazy deductions, etc., I try to get every year, I figure it's worth it. Besides, Tax Preparation is a legit deduction the following year...

It's all going to bills this year. I'm going to be a good, responsible girl.

I do my own . . . it takes a long time but I know I have claimed everything and I don't have to shell out money to anyone. I'm just waiting my w2, can't wait . . . I usually get a big refund. I should probably adjust my withholdings, but I would much rather get money back than have to give them money I don't have.

i'm getting 3 w2s from 2006. i'm 1-for-3 so far. i'll probably file within a week of receiving the third w2.

UK deadline is the end of this month. Mailed my return on Monday.

I guess I'll be doing the free online thingy this year, since they don't have TeleFile ( aka One Of The Greatest Inventions EVER ) anymore.

Last year was the first time I had someone else do my taxes in years. But it was way over my head with 9 months of unemployment/months of COBRA payments/401K cashout to consider.

Handy tip I hope none of you ever have to use - if you cash out yer 401K to live off of, & use some of that money to pay for you health insurance via COBRA - KEEP ALL OF YOUR COBRA RECEIPTS.

I have to gather about 700 receipts together sometime later this month. It will be a total bitch, but the tax refund I get makes it soooooooo worth it.

I'm banging my accountant so she does my taxes for free.

I'm afraid to do mine. It's a crapshoot as to whether I owe or get a return.
