BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton collapsed Monday during a speech on Social Security, a radio station reported.

Colleen DiPirro, president of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce, told WBEN-AM radio that Clinton told the crowd she was feeling weak and had had a stomach virus. Clinton started to speak then collapsed, DiPirro told the radio station.

Clinton, 57, was treated by an emergency crew at the scene and declined to be taken to a hospital, the radio station said.

She was scheduled to speak later Monday at a Catholic college about health care. Several hundred people were waiting to hear that address. There were also hundreds of anti-abortion protesters waiting at the college.

Clinton's 58-year-old husband underwent quadruple bypass surgery in September.

There isn't any. It's just the AP's standard practice of tossing in extra factoids. Most wires stories have extraneous paragraphs that papers/websites/news orgs can chop off for space/time purposes.

The factoids are usually something like. "In 1983, Joe Actor was nominated for a best-supporting actor Oscar for his work as the drug-addled psychotic in Martin Spielberg's 'Released In 10 Theatres In Late December To Qualify For This Award.'" The entire story might be about Joe Actor's fourth child being signed to a record contract, but the AP will still have to tack that kind of thing on.

Or, if it's a story about the actor being nominated, they'll add "In 1983, Dick Thespian was arrested and charged with assault after urinating on a department store Santa. The case was settled out of court."

That kinda thing.
