Now we can post dumb shit and leaks over there too ;)

I'm in.

I've never really got into myspace. I just don't see the point, except for bands.

I was gonna create an Obner group a long time ago, but didn't think the idea would last long. Hope I'm wrong.

Does this mean we can expect a sudden influx of 12 yr olds in our membership? Awesome. I hope they all do chronological reviews of the 134,000 songs they've got mislabeled on their iPods.

I actually thought about this earlier in the week, but then I figured once again that we really didn't want too many people knowing about this. I guess I was wrong again.

i doubt we will get too many new people coming over here from there. it's more just for those that are on myspace and post here.

i think he meant unless you're in a band, ie. the myspace belongs to the band. ( still i think its worthless, but whatever)/

I'm probably fucking jaded because i live in a town of 2 million people and still the music scene is still ENTIRELY driven by this fucking site. It's embarassing.

I rarely ever check my myspace page, but I joined the group. Perhaps, this will motivate me to check it out once in a while.

Yeah, I'll admit I don't understand the function of myspace.

I thought it was just a teenage dating site that got turned into an advertising forum for shitty emo bands.

Why don't you stick that donut in your ass since that's where it's gonna end up anyway when you eat it.

well played
Since, I don't really belong to any fraternal organizations or charity groups, I'll consider Obner my fraternal organization and join every silly little group affiliated with it.

it's a great place for bands/artists to post their stuff for people to hear. it's a really easy & effective way for bands to get the word out about their music. it's much easier than going through all the hassel of setting up a whole website, et.c

I go on from time to time to red patton oswalt's posts. But as a whole the site tends to piss me off.
