hot water bottle with heart embroidery?

Aren't you like two minutes younger than I am?

This is what I like about taking up with someone younger - always so toasty warm.

I'm always sweating because I live in an old ass apt. with a furnace from the depths of hell that the manager of the building turns waaaay up in the winter. My wife loves it. I, on the other hand, sleep most nights with 2 fans pointed at me.

My apartment in Milwaukee is out of control hot. We've been leaving our windows open for the last few months because it gets so hot in here.

I don't think the heat in our apartment has kicked on in weeks. We leave the windows open at night and it drops to about 64-65 overnight. Up to 71-72 in the afternoon.

Saves on the heating bill.

Just well insulated, or do you get sunlight heating the place up?

We get sun in the afternoon.....but were also completely surrounded.

I currently have our thermostat set at 63 and it's 69. We have our bedroom and living room windows cracked a few inches.

Not to mention we run two fans and a humidifier (SP?) at night.

We run a humidifier as well, though I keep telling my wife just to put a big bowl of water on the radiator. We get hit with sun in our bedroom in the AM, which is nice to wake up to in winter months (hell in the summer with the laser beam of light to my face), so that warms it up nicely. The living room gets chilly because it sits in the middle but its still nice.

You mean "So Cold"? That's standard operating procedure anytime you get into a hotel room (or anywhere where you ain't paying the bill) Jam that bugger down to 55. I guess in your case it was on Uncle Sam.

I have no complaints about my current apartment, I keep the thermostat at 70 and usually it stays about 72 in there without using the heater 24/7
My first apartment relied on a boiler in the basement and had window AC units. It was really hot in the summer and really cold in the winter. The thermostat always read 68 in there, but I used to sleep with layers of clothes and blankets and it felt like it was around 50 in there when I went to shower.
