how bad is the snow in chicago? that's got to be good for the Bears.

there was supposed to be 3-4 inches, but looks like it's only going to be an inch, or so says weather.com

The saints have two awesome RB's and a terrible secondary, i think it favors the Saints.

i think it's more of an emphasis on the D.

it'll limit what Brees can do which will inevitably hurt the running game. Bush's game breaking ability will be nullified.

Duece, Benson and the D's will be the key.

Given that i'd lean towards the home team with the better defense.

Bears finally score a touchdown, this game is over.

That's what happens to all the Southern and Dome teams when they have to play meaningful games in cold weather.

Saints respond to my criticism with a decent touchdown drive.

Ha.

I'm actually rooting for them since they have two huskers on the Defense, and I really don't want to see a rematch of the Patriots/Bears from 20+ years ago.
If Mike Brown wasn't hurt, I'd have problems rooting against the Bears.

I'm pulling for neither team though I did pick the Bears to win when Scotty D called me about 30 minutes before kickoff.

Not a very exciting game so far; the thing to watch in the second half will be to see how the Saints make adjustments on offense (they appeared to be on their way that last drive) and especially in their run defense.

Chicago is sticking to the script and looks pretty good.

Interestingly enough the Bears defense has really showed up to play today, especially against the run. The field looks slippery as hell, which is also making it difficult for the Saint's WR's. Snow, goddamn it. SNOW!

Also, the Bears are having no trouble running the ball against the Ain'ts crappy rushing defense. I'm thinking it's going to be a Bears victory here. An ugly win, but a "W" nevertheless.

Snow actually helps the passing OFFENSE believe it or not. If you had listened to the BlooGAR podcast before the game you would know this. :P

I refuse to believe that.

If the Saints keep that rhythm though they are going to shred our corners Vasher and Tillman.

More pass pressure!

I missed it, but that was some world class taunting and dancing by the rookie. All he needed was to throw in a little high step action before diving into the endzone, or just walking it in.
