Whatchall listening to? Besides the bacon frying and the toaster making that weird clicky sound?

I had on Sloan's Never Hear The End Of It earlier. Thanks to you-know-whom, I'm really enjoying these guys. I'm planning on buying more- according to AllMusic, the 2 before this one were pretty good, too. Anything else I should know?

You aren't really eating bacon, are you? Those poor pigs. :cry:

But I would pay a lot for bacon incense. :wink:

Okay, I got one:

Eric Burdon~ Soul Of A Man- anyone who's been around here a while should know that I ain't a lover of fossil rock, and this one is NOT fossil stuff. I ordered it while I was in Europe one bored night and it was waiting for me when I got here.

I admit I always loved Burdon from the first song I ever heard 40 years ago, but had him pigeon-holed in the oldies circuit category for some time now. Even passed up several chances to se him when I lived in Las Vegas, as he seemed to blow through there every 6 months or so.

This is a 2006 release that would have easily cracked my top 20 had I heard it before list-making time. Damn record is HOT. Very bluesy, with waves of soul and funk passing through the selections. Fine, fine band and Eric's voice is as good as ever. This shit kicks.
