There have been some killer OTS on shows in the past few years (Six Feet Under, Carnivale are a couple of favorites), but last night I realized I really, really like the one for Rescue Me. Killer song, effective editing and cool titles make this a really powerful one.

Anyone else have a favorite?

Warner Brothers Cartoons (Theme music alone)
The Simpsons (classic)
Huff (a new favorite, kinda dreamlike with some interesting shots and samples)
Weeds ("Little Boxes On The Hillside...")
Futurama (great animation sequence)

Definitely for the music, but the footage of Archie and Edith singing together is pretty classic, too.

...Gee our old LaSalle ran great!

If we're talking music only, and some visuals, I always liked "Get Smart"

This one's a lot funnier when the kids start to rearrange the letters in the sign.

The first two seasons of Veronica Mars.

Also Buffy. That rocked, literally.

The West Wing was always good.

Miami Vice is a classic.

Simon and Simon had some great theme music
