I was just joking about the indie cred, I don't take that stuff seriously. plus nobody I know even really knows what indie is or cares so I would probably score more points with the people I know as an abercrombie wearing frat boy type. I'm mostly doing the job because two or three of my friends already work there and I like the idea of trying to sell clothes that I wouldn't wear in an ironic sort of way. oh and I've done the whole resteruant thing and I am never dealing with that shit again

I sold bone marrow out of my hip every six weeks for a couple of years at $1600 a pop.

A slightly painful half hour.

It was for some experiment they were running at the university i went to, so once i graduated and moved... well.

I would guess call the local university and see what money making experiments you can volunteer for?

Recently there was an ad in the local paper here from some lawyer representing a woman looking for an egg donor meeting very specific requirements. Compensation= 80 grand. Yes. $80,000. I'd have tried my luck, but one requirement was being at least 5'9"... other things were high IQ/college graduate, little to no family history of illness, decent physical appearance. Also this person would give extra compensation for things like being athletic or having musical abilty.

I meet those criteria except for the IQ one (don't know what it is) and that I am only average in the athletic realm.

Oh, and the whole egg thing.

Not to beat a dead horse here, but that last sentence nearly caused a beer-through-the-nostrils moment.

Someone fill in the blank here:

I suppose it's a necessary sacrifice for $________ an hour.

Your answer will depend on the number of hours you have to put in and the permanence of the sacrifice (cutting your hair - big deal), but regardless, the number 6.15 should never fill in the blank.
